Glossy Spotlight: Loreal Infallible LeGloss Review + Swatch

This post is probably long overdue simply because this is my absolute favorite drugstore lipgloss and quite possibly favorite lipgloss EVER!

Yup, I said it!

'Why?' you ask? The Loreal Infallible LeGloss series of lip glosses has an impressive range of colors and the formulation of the product lasts so, so long and is very comfortable on the lips! Even the sparkly shades feel super smooth.

Though they could be worn alone, my favorite way to wear them is layered over a lipstick/liner to add shine and staying power to whatever lies underneath the gloss.

The applicator is of the doe-foot variety with a small hole in the center to help pick up enough goo and the twist off cap doubles as a mirror for your infrequent touchups. Most of the shades are opaque and seriously last forever! The original glosses claimed 6 hours but the newer ones last up to 8! I have never timed the product on my skin but it really lasts for an impressive amount of time. Take eating out of your schedule and these babies would last all day! :-)

I wouldn't say the gloss is sticky but it is thick enough that it will stay on the lips for all those hours it claims.

Below are swatches some of my favorite shades and pairings with shades I've reviewed previously.

Barely Nude - Creamy, light brown that will suit many skin tones as a nude as the name suggests. Looks great over MAC's Verve
Fiery - Shimmery, peachy orange. Looks great over On Hold.

Glistening Berry - Sparkly, deep maroon. Looks great over Media
Posy - Shimmery light pink. Not very opaque but looks great over Cosmo
Sangria - Creamy, deep pinky-peach. One of my favorites! This can go with just about anything - which is why I've repurchased it about 8 times!

Undeniable Mauve - Creamy pink with slight lavender undertone. Another favorite that I usually repurchase with Sangria! It's so perfect and would go with so many colors! I like this over Craving
Pink Topaz - Electric, shimmery pink. Looks amazing over Girl About Town.
Rebel Red - Shimmery true red. Insane over M.A.C. Red


Loreal Infallible LeGloss retails between $8-$11 at drugstores depending on where you purchase them. I think they're totally worth it!
