MAC Candy Yum Yum Lipstick: Review + Swatch

I may have found my signature color for Spring/Summer this year!

Ok I know, I may have said that before - and I can't guarantee that I won't say it again - but hey, I'm a complex woman!

Here it is! MAC Candy Yum Yum! A super bright, neon candy PINK! No doubt about it!

Candy Yum Yum (ps. don't you love saying that name?) was first released in some limited edition collections but was recently added to the permanent line. Amen!

Its a cool-toned, almost electric pink with a matte finish. It is really pretty on but make sure you exfoliate and moisturize your kissers before swiping it on. The lipstick is very dry and it's bright color will definitely emphasize any cracks or dryness on the skin.  I applied it with a light hand in the photo above with a lip brush to make it go on the lips smoother.

Bottomline: I love this color! I'm a sucker for a bright pink any day. This would put Girl About Town in serious danger of being my favorite pink ever - if only the finish was more forgiving like Amplified or Satin.

I give Candy Yum Yum a 'yummy' rating of 4.5 out of 5.
