Miami Spirit is a bright, cool green with a hint of blue and Hollywood Walk of Fame is a glitter-fest of large, star-shaped particles and tiny circular and elongated flecks in a clear base.
Both of these polishes look so beautiful in the bottle but lets get down to the review.
Spoiler alert: Its not gonna be pretty.
The brush is very wide - actually, one of the widest I've seen. In theory, I do like wide brushes because they allow me to coat the nail quicker with fewer strokes but I feel like the brushes on these were almost too wide especially for my pinkie fingers and made a mess of my cuticles. Maybe my nails are too narrow? Who's to say?
Also, the bristles of the brush do not lay flat on the nail because they are stiff and cut bluntly across. This made my first coat quite streaky but after I got the hang of it, I adjusted myself for the second coat.
Miami Spirit dried to a kind of semi-matte, old-looking finish, which I did not enjoy.
Walk of Fame was the bigger disappointment of these two, though. I expected one swipe to cover my nails in a small galaxy of stars, but the reality was that I was lucky if I got ONE star on the nail in a single swipe! To achieve a full 2 stars on each nail as in the photo, I had to apply 2 - 3 coats of this glitter polish to each nail.
The base is thick and super 'goopy', so I don't know if that is a hindrance to getting out the particles. It also lengthened drying time.
Finally, even after applying a top coat to seal everything in place, the feel of the nails is extremely gritty, sharp and even snaggy. The stars do not lay flat on the nail, which I assume is the main cause of the uneven texture.
These Fergie Nail polishes are sold in drugstores for $3.49.
Bottomline: I like the 'idea' of these polishes. The colors are beautiful and I like the look of the finish product on my nail. The application experience, however, leaves a lot to be desired and I do not think either of these polishes can be worn alone. I don't have much experience with Wet n Wild polishes, so I don't know if this is a brand thing or specific to this collection or maybe even just these 2 polishes. In any case, I will not be repurchasing.

I like to keep the theme of this blog positive but since I did promise this review, here it is.
Overall, my score for Miami Spirit and Hollywood Walk of Fame is 2.5 out of 5.
Thanks so much for reading.
What do you think of the Fergie Nail Polish Collection?

That's unfortunate! You'd expect the stars to be a lot more concentrated.
