Within the last few days, I have been nominated not once, but twice for the Liebster Award by the lovely Ashley Elizabeth from Beauty and the Bold and Tan from Glamfortan! Thank you both so much!
The rules for this are really easy. The nominee must :
1. Link back to the person(s) who nominated them
2. Write 11 random facts about him/herself
3. Answer the 11 questions asked by the nominator.
4. Nominate 11 bloggers who all have less than 200 GFC followers and let them know.

So here we go.
11 Random Facts about Me
1. I was born and raised in Barbados
2. But I don't know how to swim (I started learning around age 7 or 8 but I don't know what happened there)
3. Sometimes I only cry out of one eye
4. My dad calls me Stripes because I am horrible in the kitchen and always leave with a striped burn mark on my arm from the stove.
5. I may be a stage 1 germaphobe
6. I have probably over 30 store loyalty cards
7. I get freaked out when people spit in the street
8. I usually go through an entire pack of gum in about 15-20 minutes.
9. I am now obsessed with juicing......Everything!
10. I am embarrassingly addicted to Pretty Little Liars
11. I have a strange fear of walking over sidewalk grates

1. What Superpower would you have?
This is a tough one but I like traveling, so I'd probably pick flying.
2. Do you like to cook?
Cooking has never been my strong-suit but I can make a few simple dishes and I have the scars to prove it :-)
3. Ever done a DIY project before?
Definitely! I don't do them now as often as I used to, but I love making things!
4. Favorite TV shows?
My husband has gotten me into the Walking Dead so now I'm pretty addicted to it. I also love Emily Owens MD, The Mindy Project, Modern Family, Breaking Bad and American Idol/The X-Factor (whichever's on at the moment)
5. Favorite Beauty Product?
This is another tough one. For a considerable time, I have been loving MAC's lipstick in Girl About Town.
6. Most expensive thing you've bought?
I have to think about this. Solely out of my own money on a singular item, that might be my bedroom set.

6. What is the last book you read?
Water for Elephants
7. If you could meet one person (alive or dead) that you've never meet before who would it be?
I've loved Mariah Carey for as long as I can remember but I would also like to meet Michelle Obama because she is so inspirational. I'd have to flip a coin. Haha
8. If you could go back in time and live in another era, which would you choose?
Hands down England in the 17th-18th century. I love the use of the language in that era and even some of the dresses. :-)
9. What is one of your pet peeves?
Rude people. I hate when people don't say thank you after you've done something nice for them.
10. Who is your favorite actress?
I have many, but lately I can't get enough of Emily Blunt!
11. If you could only buy from one make-up brand for the rest of your life, which would you choose?
I think MAC would be a safe choice. It is affordable enough and has a wide range of colors that would suit me unlike many other brands that don't always cater for darker skin tones.
