The collection is broken down into 2 groups representing the rivals in Archie's life: Betty and Veronica. The Betty products were of softer, lighter colors while the Veronica segment consisted of brighter and bolder shades, which actually suited me more.
To tell you the truth, I was a a bit disappointed with this collection. Even though the Veronica items were beautiful and complimented my skin tone well, there was nothing there that I didn't already have in my makeup stash. Besides capitalizing on the oh-so-cute packaging, I didn't see anything I 'needed'.
Ronnie Red and Daddy's Little Girl lipsticks really spoke to me but they looked so similar to shades I already had, so I couldn't reason with myself enough to get them.
I did leave with the lipstick Oh, Oh, Oh (try asking for that in the store. LOL). It is a pretty sheer, shimmery nude with a slight orangey-brown tone to it. There isn't much color payoff to this, so it definitely lets the color of your lips show through.
This shade works if you're looking for a fairly natural color flush to the lips and would look slightly different on everyone because of your natural lip color. It is also light enough to wear over another lipstick and can be made to look darker/different by using a colored lip liner.
This isn't really the type of lipstick I would normally wear, because I like more opaque and bold colors but I figured since I don't have thaaaat many nudes, I'd give this one a go.
Bottomline: I am overall pretty disappointed with this collection and didn't find anything really unique. Oh, Oh, Oh is a beautiful nude that can probably work with just about any skin tone so I give it props for that. Because I gravitate towards stronger colors, I don't think I'd get much use out of it - but that is a personal preference. If you like subtle colors on the lips, this is perfect!
Overall, I give Oh, Oh, Oh and the Archie collection a 3.5 out of 5.
Thanks so much for reading.
