I've got a Wham-Bam-Thank-You-Ma'am kind of post today. I recently experimented with some scotch tape action. On my nails! What were you thinking?
For this look, I created a two-toned, angular but still very simple manicure.
First, I painted the entire nail in the light blue polish (OPI You're Such A Budapest). After that was fully dried, I cut basic triangles from strips of scotch tape and placed on top of each nail to mask out the darker shade.
Then, I painted the royal blue polish (Sally Hansen Blue It) on the sides of the nail and over the tape. While the polish was still tacky - about a minute after applying - I gently peeled away the tape and Voila!
Lastly, I finished off with a top coat.
Note: The OPI polish I used here was limited edition but you can really use any shade you have. The Sally Hansen Blue It is sold in drugstores for about $3.
Thanks for reading!
