Two Maybelline posts back to back? What the Whaaaatt??
I've got another quick and dirty review on the Maybelline Eye Studio Eyeshadow Quad in the shade Coral Oasis. I've made it no secret here that I've been on a coral kick during these warm months, so its really just about time that I tried this quad.
The Coral Oasis palette comes with light peach, pale yellow, bright orange and deep brown/burgandy shades. All the shadows are frosted.
Application of the shadows was easy and they blended well. However, I found them to be a bit powdery for my taste and there was some fall-out - but beautiful shades nonetheless. I think these shadows will work for gorgeous looks from summer and into fall.
I used all the shadows in the photo above and in the same order as in the palette from left to right.
Maybelline Eye Studio Quads retail for $7.99 at drugstores.
Overall, its a neat little palette with some bright but very usable and flattering shades. The shadows fell in the more powdery range but I think they would look brilliant with a colored base (which I did not use in the photo above).
I give the Maybelline Eye Studio Quad in Coral Oasis a 3.5/5
